Even before joining the Murdoch family in 1995, our funeral home in Manchester, Iowa, has long been a part of the Manchester community. Originally operating in the historic Tirrill Mansion near Tirrill Park, the Murdoch family moved the funeral home to a ground-level facility on the west side of Manchester in 1998, where it stands today, conveniently located near Oakland Cemetery and St. Mary’s Cemetery. Our spacious chapel is designed with flexibility in mind, whether you’re looking to honor your loved one with a more traditional ceremony or a more casual service. Our ample parking ensures that all those who wish to come and commemorate your loved one can do so in comfort and with ease. Our funeral home may also be configured for receptions and meals.
