Zachery Michael Platner, 3345 Edgebrooke Drive, Marion, was born to the hands of God on Saturday, February 14, 2009, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include his parents, Mike and Billie Platner of Marion; one brother and one sister, Ashton and Megan, both at home; maternal grandparents, Pat and Cindy Wachendorf, of Guttenberg; and paternal grandparents, Allen and Marilyn Platner, of Marion. Also surviving are many other loving family members.
Zachery was a deeply loved son, brother, grandson, and nephew. He will forever be missed in the hearts of his family.
