Wilma Vincent, 81, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Living Center West, Cedar Rapids. Services: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Rev. William B. Harnish. Family will greet friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at the funeral home.
Survivors include her children, Gale Porter of Cedar Rapids, Dale (Debra) Vincent of Lincoln, North Dakota, and Dr. James (Kathryn) Vincent of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Michelle Wehr, Corey Vincent, Cassie Buehner, Aaron Porter, Jarrod Porter, Michael Vincent and Matthew Vincent; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles (Donna) Flint of Delhi, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Vincent; parents, Dail and Fern Flint; and brothers, Virgil and Kenneth Flint.
Wilma was born on October 30, 1931, in Hannibal, Missouri, daughter Dail and Fern (Moss) Flint. She was employed at Halmark and a waitress at Chat n Chew Diner. Wilma moved to Cedar Rapids in 1955. She also enjoyed selling antiques with her husband and creative writing.
