Wilma Lucille Schulte, 90, passed away peacefully at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester, Saturday, August 18, 2012 surrounded by her family.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church, Delhi, conducted by Rev. John Kremer. Family will greet friends from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Earlville with a Scripture Service at 3:15p.m, additional visitation will be one hour prior to the mass on Wednesday. Burial will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Delhi.
Wilma was born October 10, 1921 to Bernard and Florence ( Bockenstedt )Wulfekule. She was united in marriage to John Henry Schulte on November 22,1943. They owned and operated their own Schulte Grocery Store for 30 yrs., retiring in 1977. They later enjoyed going to auctions, dealing in antiques and linens
Survivors include a son, Robert (Colleen) Schulte of Delhi; three grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Reeves, Lori (Jeremy) Schulte-Trenkamp, and Mark (Laura) Schulte; 7 great-grandchildren, Jenna and Trent Reeves, Shaylyn, Tate, Annie, Brock, Cecily Trenkamp, and a Schulte on the way; 3 step great-grandchildren; 1 step great-great-grandchild; two sister in-laws, Ruth Wulfekuhle and Phyllis Schulte; , and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband John in 1993; 2 brothers, Linus and David Wulfekuhle; 2 siblings at birth; 4 brother in-laws; and 2 sister in-laws.
