Wilma J. Priest, 86, of Manchester, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Visitation will be held 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester with Funeral Service being held at 11 a.m. Burial at Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Wilma was born May 5, 1931, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Eileen (Hines) Schadey. She attended Manchester High School. On June 25, 1948, Wilma married John Priest in Manchester. Wilma was a life-long homemaker. She enjoyed drawing, playing the organ, and crossword puzzles.
Wilma is survived by her son Jay (Jean) Priest of Virginia; granddaughter, Alisa Priest of Marion, Iowa, grandson, Jason (Melissa) Priest of Alburnett, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Camden Priest, Johnathan, Gracelyn and Karson Priest; daughter-in-law, Verna (Doug) Kuehl of Marion, Iowa; step-granddaughter, Amy (Shane) Thomas of Midway, Iowa; and step-great-grandchildren, Latyse, Jamika, Jeremy, Paige, Olivia and Ty.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; one brother, Arthur Schadey, and one step-granddaughter, Angie.
