William V. Walker, 72, of Living Center East in Cedar Rapids, died Monday, November 21, 2005 at St. Luke?s Hospital in Cedar Rapids following complications of a stroke.
Graveside services with military honors will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois.
William is survived by three children, Tod Walker of Central City, Debra Messier and Brenda Vezina, both of Massachusetts; three grandchildren, Jocelyn Perry, Rochelle Ledger and Ian Vezina; and his wife, Jacqueline Therrien of Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna; and two sisters, Lucille and Betty.
William was born April 3, 1933 in Moline, Illinois, the son of William and Helen (Cook) Walker. He served in the United States Navy from December 5, 1951 to September 20, 1953. William worked as a draftsperson for the Rock Island Arsenal.
