William Leonard “Len” Billerbeck, 65, died Friday, January 17, 2014, at Windmill Manor, Coralville, Iowa. Services: 10:30 am. Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Blessed John XXIII Church by Father Dustin Vu. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapid. Graveside services: 2:00 pm Thursday, Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; and a special cousin, Carlette (Ron) Ketelsen and their children.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Len was born September 7, 1948, the son of James and Alice (Wolary) Billerbeck, in Centerville, Iowa. On November 26, 1988, he was united in marriage to Janet White in Independence, Iowa.
Prior to moving to Cedar Rapids, Len lived in Burlington, Iowa. He was employed at the Army Ammunitions Plant. After moving to Cedar Rapids, he was employed for many years at Mercy Medical Center in the Materials Management Department.
