William “Bill” Kuehl, 58, of Alburnett, Iowa, died Monday, August 26, 2019, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A Celebration of Life gathering will start at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the Boyse family farm in Alburnett. Arrangements made by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, Iowa.

Bill was born on November 9, 1960, in Oelwein, Iowa, the son of Doug and Joyce (Zapf) Kuehl. He was united in marriage to Deb Meyer on November 7, 1981. The couple later divorced. Bill was a member of the Alburnett Community Diamond Club (ACDC) and was a Historical Society Volunteer. He enjoyed drinking Old Milwaukee beer, grilling on his Revolver grill and going on camping trips. Bill loved driving fast and he would always beat everyone and brag about it. Above all things, Bill loved his kids.

Survivors include his parents, Doug (Joyce) Kuehl; daughters, Stephanie Worm (Ted Massow) and Michele (Gary) Squires; eight grandchildren; brothers, Doug (Verna) Kuehl, Jr., Terry (Stephaney) Kuehl and Rod (Tiffany) Kuehl; sisters, Sandy Boyse, Bev (Brad) Price and Roxanne (Chris) Umbdenstock; many nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Vickie Wyatt.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Marty Boyse; and niece, Angie Kuehl.

Bill was an organ donor and he would be proud to know that he was able to help others.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a memorial fund that has been established in Bill’s name at Center Point Bank & Trust.
