William “Bill” H. Krueger, 69, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died peacefully Friday, January 25, 2008, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, after a courageous battle with cancer. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Del Bear. The family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Private Burial: Garden of Memories, Waterloo, Iowa.
Survivors include a brother, Jim (Carol) Krueger of Roseville, Minnesota; and numerous relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert.
Bill was born August 30, 1938, the son of Alvin and Evelyn (Luther) Krueger, in Waterloo, Iowa. He served in the United States Army. For 30 years, Bill worked in the hospitality industry and loved to travel and play golf.
His mischievous humor and companionship will be missed by all.
