William "Bill" Durow

William “Bill” Durow, 72, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at the Hiawatha Care Center. The family will greet friends from 2 – 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Graveside services will follow at the Center Point Cemetery with Reverend Mike Ellson officiating.
Bill was born March 3, 1947, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Evelyn (Kratzer) Durow. He graduated from Washington High School as well as Northeast Missouri State University. Bill was a Mason all his life and a current member of the Methodist Church in Center Point. In 2015, Bill, retired from the United States Small Business Administration in the Washington D.C. area where he had lived and worked the last 20 years.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Durow, and was preceded in death by his “dad”, Raymond and grandparents.
