Wendy Lee Schense (Schense)
February 14, 1967 — February 8, 2007
Wendy Lee Schense, 39, of Vinton, died Thursday, February 8, 2007, at St. Luke?s Hospital, due to a sudden illness. Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2007, at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Central City by Father Wayne Droessler. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City. Inurnment will be at a later date in South Dakota.
Wendy is survived by her parents, William and Lorraine Schense of Central City; a sister, Billie Ganzveld of Humboldt; a brother, Jeff Schense and sister-in-law, Deb Schense and family of North Liberty; grandmother, Annie Lapka of Aberdeen, South Dakota; a very close niece, Chrystal Carpenter of Webster City; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She had many wonderful friends that stayed with her to the very end, among then were, Annie Cebach of Urbana, Tamie Pohlmann, and Bill Burks of Norway, Barb and Ernest Obadal of Swisher, and her immediate family.
Wendy was born February 14, 1967, in Storm Lake. She graduated from Central City High School and attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.
Wendy will be truly missed by all who knew her.
