Wanda J. Moen, 84, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Visitation one hour prior to service. Private inurnment: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Wanda was born on June 23, 1932, in Ottumwa, Iowa, daughter of Isaac and Lola (Jessup) Smith. She was a cashier for 18 years at the Kum & Go Store. Wanda especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Michelle Collum of Staples, Minnesota and Richard Welsh of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Josh) Lind, Klistie (Ryan) Shingledecker, Chase Collum, Julian Welsh, Taylor (Tanya) Welsh, Mason (Megan) Welsh and Megan Saylor; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mike Welsh; and six siblings.
