Wally Henderson, 88, of Central City, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at his home. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Dennis Johnson. Burial will follow at Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Wally is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters, Deb and Pam; grandsons, Shane and Shawn; and great-grandson, A.J.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Henderson.
Wally was born March 29, 1929, in Central City, Iowa, the son of Lloyd and Winnie (Burnside) Henderson. He was a farmer in the Central City area until retiring 26 years ago.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to Unity Point Hospice.
