Vivian L. Shubert, 93, of Madison, Wisconsin, formerly of Dubuque, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 at the HospiceCare in Madison.
Private graveside memorial services will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in Earlville by Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Bickel. Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Earlville is in charge of arrangements.
Vivian was born September 7, 1913 in Earlville, the daughter of Leon R. and Mina B. (Watt) Fear. She enjoyed her nursing career in Dubuque. In 1997, Vivian moved to Madison, Wisconsin.
She was a member of the First Congregational UCC in Dubuque.
Vivian is survived by her daughter, Sonia Porter of Madison, WI; two grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mary Fear of Muscatine, Iowa; and by her nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon & Mina Fear; and a brother, Gordon D. Fear.
