Virginia was born on April 25, 1953, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Albert William and Margaret Jean (Downing) Suck. She grew up with her family at the Woodward Resource Center. She had an infectious personality and would communicate with her beautiful eyes. In her younger years, Virginia was a ‘flirt’. She would flash-a-smile and bat-her-eyes. Virginia loved getting her hair done, wearing sparkly things in her hair, and putting on scented lotions. She enjoyed shopping, especially for anything sparkly and bright. Virginia also loved dressing up and wearing nice clothes, stylish hats and silk scarves, all while enjoying all the compliments she received. She loved watching movies, especially those with music, and listening to staff sing to her as they took care of her. Virginia also enjoyed being outside, watching the birds through her window, eating fried chicken and all sorts of treats. She also loved and cherished her soft stuffed animals and blankets. Virginia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by all her friends, family and staff at the Woodward Resource Center.
