Viola "Vi? M. Fagle, 84, of Center Point, Iowa, died Monday, May 30, 2005, in St. Lukes Hospital, following a short illness. Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 2, 2005, at the Murdoch Funeral Home in Center Point, by the Rev. Mike Ellson. The family will greet friends Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Walker Cemetery at a later date.

Survivors include one daughter, Ginny (Jim) Ramsey of Center Point; two sons, Kenny (Jenna) Fagle of Center Point and Kevin (Bonnie) Fagle of Center Point; niece, Myrtle (Merwin) Smith; nephews, Bob (Linda) Mounce and Floyd Ondler; and many other nieces and nephews. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley; her parents; a son, Tex Phillip who died in infancy; three brothers, Clarence, Dewey, and Phillip Ondler; and one sister, Essie Mounce.

Viola was born January 5, 1921 in Walker, Iowa to the parents of Madison and Essie May (Metcalf) Ondler. She was united in marriage to Wesley B. Fagle in Kahoka, Missouri on April 26, 1941. He died in 1997. Vi was a school teacher at the Alice Community School, was the bookkeeper at the Skelly Service Station that she and her husband owned and operated, worked at Montgomery Ward and retired from Kubias Hardware Store. Viola was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Garden Club. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Her family would like to thank Willow Gardens Care Center and St. Lukes Hospice.
