Viola R. Eveland Clary, 93, a resident of Willow Gardens Care Center, and a longtime resident of Marion died Saturday, June 4, 2005, in the care center, following an extended illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at the funeral home.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna Olmstead of Babson Park, Florida, Barb Williams of Cedar Rapids and Shirley Dippel of Thomson, Illinois; four sons, Walter Eveland of Largo, Florida, William Eveland of Long Beach, California, Duane Eveland of Central City and Ronald Eveland of Homestead, Florida; a brother; and a sister.

Also surviving are twenty-one grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, a granddaughter, a brother and a sister.

She was born the daughter of Asa A. and Sarah J. (Hoag) Bradley on March 13, 1912 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In November of 1933, she was united in marriage to Herbert Eveland. He died April of 1980.
