Victor “Vic” Youngs, 58, of Marion, Iowa, died Thursday, April 22, 2021, at UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. The funeral service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Vic was born October 17, 1962, in Santa Maria, California, the son of Richard and Glenda (Wolfe) Youngs. He graduated from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids and worked construction as an independent contractor.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sue Carlson; children, Victor (Hollie) Youngs, Jr., Kayle Youngs, Shelby Youngs, Alex (Ashley) Youngs, Nick Youngs, Greg (Marni) Carlson, Thomas Carlson, Terra (Gary) Gilbert, Tabitha Carlson, Christopher Morrison, Sr., and Kandice (Charles) Hilliard; sister, Kathy Youngs; twenty six grandkids; mother, Glenda Youngs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vic was preceded in death by his father, Richard Youngs and brother, David Youngs.
