Vickie M. Sparrgrove, 47, of 3701 16th Ave. SW, died suddenly, Tuesday, October 14, 2003, at St. Luke?s Hosptial. Memorial Services: 2 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2003, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Del Bear. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
Survivors include her parents, Lyle and Anne Sparrgrove of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Craig Sparrgrove and wife Barbara of Phoenix, Arizona and their children, Kyle, Shannon and Brody.
Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and two uncles.
Vickie was born October 4, 1956, the daughter of Lyle and Anne (Rodgers) Sparrgrove in Waterloo. She was a graduate of Kennedy High School. Vickie was employed at Goodwill Industries. Prior to her employment at Goodwill, she worked at Winifred?s Catering. Vickie was a very active person. Her interests included roller skating, bowling, playing pool and traveling.
A memorial fund has been established in Vickie?s memory.
