Tyler “TP” Ryan Peterson, 20, of 340 8th St., Marion, died Monday, October 5, 2009, at home. Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2009 at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. The family will greet friends from 4 ?" 7 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2009, at the funeral home. Private Family Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include his parents, Mark (Marianne) Wanerus and Rhonda (David) Supple; 2 brothers, Zack & Eli Matthess; grandparents, Terrie Counter, Don Peterson, and Mike (Peg) Robison; great-grandparents Gene (Fern) Struchen and Jean Sciaccotta; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandpa.
Tyler was born July 11, 1989, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Marion High School in 2008 and worked as a detailer at Cedar Rapids Toyota. Tyler loved cars, especially his truck, the “Fun Finder.” He also enjoyed 4-wheeling, music of all kinds, (was a Mötley Crue historian) and loved his dog, Obie.
Tyler was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Tyler’s memory.
