Twila was born June 15, 1939, to Lester and Lois Gibson Ruff in Eagleville, Missouri, where she also grew up. She married Forrest Wynne Kinnison, also of northern Missouri, in Humeston, Iowa, on October 2, 1959. They moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1964. She went to work at Square D Company that same year and retired in 1992 after 28 years of service.
Her greatest fulfillments were her family, friends, country music and bowling. She belonged to several afternoon and evening leagues at Lancer Lanes with her coworkers over the years. Twila and Wynne also enjoyed camping with a close group of friends where they shared many memories and songs around the campfire. She also got great joy from being a twin to Lila. She felt that bond very deeply.
Twila and her family would like to thank everyone at Mercy Care Dialysis Center, PCI and Mercy Medical Center and Hospice for all the care and concern they provided.
A memorial fund has been established.
