He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Smith Madison, his sister Deborah Meyerhoff, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Tim was born, the son of Howard and Joyce Madison, on November 22, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He worked as a laborer at Amana Refrigeration for 18 years. He was a longtime member of Waltonian Archers of Linn County. Tim dedicated his life to his children, choosing fatherhood above everything else. He spent a great deal of time sharing his love of camping, hunting, and fishing with his children, father and nephew, Stephen. Tim never missed an opportunity to say, “I love you” or give you a big hug. He loved to share a good joke and laugh til it hurt. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and is a hero to us all for donating portions of his body to Columbia University for research in the hope of finding a cure for Huntington’s Disease.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Timothy’s name.
