Timothy “Tim” Haas, 29, of Manchester, died at home Wednesday, January 13, 2010.
Funeral Services will be Monday, January 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cornerstone Community Church in Manchester by Pastor Jake Each. Family will greet friends, 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Additional visitation, one hour before services Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Masonville.
Tim was born September 25, 1980 in Manchester, the son of Leo J. Haas and Pam Martin. Tim graduated from West Delaware High School in 1999. He had worked at Eagle Windows in Dubuque, Lynch Roofing in Manchester, and most recently at XL Specialized Trailers in Manchester. He was also a tattoo artist at Ink Indulgence Tattoo Shop in Manchester, Iowa.
Tim enjoyed playing many sports, including softball, golfing, fishing, bow target, snowmobiling, mixed martial arts, running 4 x 4’s, playing pool and tattooing.
Tim is survived by his parents, Pam Haas (Rick Frasher) of Manchester and Leo Haas of Independence; a special friend, Dawn Gaulke and her daughter, Maddie Gray of Manchester; four children, Terrel James Haas of Manchester, twins Dominick and Derek Haas of East Dubuque, IL, and Addisyn Haas of Manchester; two brothers, Kory (Jolene) Haas of Manchester, Rick (Carrie) Haas of Independence; two sisters, Brandi Haas and Bryana Haas of Maynard; his maternal grandmother, Fran Martin of Manchester and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Martin and paternal grandparents, Leo “Bunk” Haas and Norma Haas-Adams.
