Timothy Paul Dougall

Timothy P. Dougall, 58, of Manchester, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died of cancer Saturday morning, October 8, 2005 in his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
Tim was born December 4, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Felix P. and Eleanor J. (Waters) Dougall. He graduated from Washington High School, Washington, Iowa in 1965. Tim was stationed in England and North Africa when he served in the United States Air Force as a C130 Loadmaster. On February 7, 1976, Tim was united in marriage to Cindy S. Roberts in Rock Island, Illinois. He was last employed by Health Enterprises of Iowa in Cedar Rapids.
Tim was an avid sports fan and coach. He coached the Washington High School Swim Team in Cedar Rapids as well as various swim clubs in the Cedar Rapids area for many years. After Tim was diagnosed with cancer, he volunteered at Washington High School and was awarded the 9 Who Care Jefferson Award in January of 2005.
Tim is survived by his wife, Cindy Dougall of Manchester; a daughter, Sarah (Matt) Beever of Brownsburg, IN; a brother, Dennis (Lynne) Dougall of Washington, IA; and a sister, Margaret White of North Carolina.
Tim was preceded in death by a son, Jay Brian Dougall; his parents, Felix & Eleanor Dougall; and a brother, James Brian Dougall.
