Timothy J. Croskey, 69, of Manchester, passed away in his sleep at his home on Friday, November 10, 2023. Per his wishes, Tim was cremated. The immediate family is attending the Hawkeye game on August 31, 2024, at Kinnick Stadium, as it was always a tradition to celebrate his birthday at the home opening game at Kinnick Stadium. Tim was born September 1, 1954, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Walter and Genevieve (Barr) Croskey. He graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1972 and went on to the University of Iowa, where he earned a degree in Film and Broadcasting. He worked as an Engineer Production Manager for a St. Louis TV station and then went on to teach Film and Broadcasting at St. Louis Community College. He married Valda Alves on August 1, 1981. They had two sons. The couple later divorced. Tim married Wangari Kaigai on June 21, 1996, in St. Louis. Tim enjoyed traveling and getting to experience different cultures and food. He was a huge history buff, especially when it came to World War II. He also enjoyed tinkering and coming up with new inventions, going camping and was a big Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Tim is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Wangari of Manchester; two sons, Dr. Will Croskey (Anna Labaro) of California and Jake Croskey of St. Louis; granddaughter, Louisa; brother, Kent Croskey and sister, Holly Croskey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Genevieve Croskey.
