Tim A. Martin, 41, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Visitation: 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Service: 10 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016, at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Julie Hulseberg. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Tim is survived by his wife, Heather; children, Dustin Kirk, Adrianna, Kenzie, Bethanie and Dawson Martin; grandson, Karter Kirk; parents, Dennis and Dianne Martin; brother, Loren Martin; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Tim was born on May 27, 1975, in Great Lakes, Illinois, son of Dennis and Dianne (Moyer) Martin. On October 19, 2002, Tim and Heather were united in marriage in Cedar Rapids. He was the head custodian for College Community School District at Crest Elementary School in Cedar Rapids and was a Teamsters member through the school. Tim loved spending time with his kids. He enjoyed going on vacations, golfing and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.
