Thomas Carl Rohr, 51, of Hiawatha, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Faith Lutheran Church, Marion, by Pastor John Albertson. The family will greet friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013, at Faith Lutheran Church, and one hour prior to the service also at the church. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Betty; two children, Anthony Rohr of Minneapolis, MN and Katrina Rohr of Decorah; his mother, Marjorie Rohr; and one brother, James (Judy) Rohr of Ransom, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Rohr.
Tom was born on March 18, 1962, the son of Leonard and Marjorie (Cheney) Rohr in Ransom, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Betty Schlick in 1986, in Hays, Kansas. Tom worked as an electrical engineer for Rockwell for 28 years. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Marion. He was involved with Boy Scouts and show choir. Tom was also an avid biker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in Tom’s memory. The family will direct memorials to the Dennis & Donna Hospice House of Mercy and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
