Thomas Robert Donovan, 49, of Robins, Iowa, died suddenly, Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Pastor Dan Peterson. The family will greet friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Deanna; two daughters, Abby Donovan and Stephanie (Eric) Lloyd; grandchild, Braylon Lloyd and one on the way; four sisters, Linda (Stephen) McHale, Kathy (Marv) Cook, Bobbie (Galen) Pettengill and Marni Donovan; and numerous nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Tom was born November 16, 1964, the son of Robert and Arlie (Steckley) Donovan, in Waterloo, Iowa. A graduate of LaPorte City High School, he was united in marriage to Deanna Beaty on June 29, 1996. Tom worked at PMX Industries for the past 19 years. He attended the New Covenant Bible Church.
An avid Steelers fan, Tom enjoyed hunting, golfing and 4-wheeling, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in memory of Tom.
