Theresa “Terry” Wiley, 86, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Living Center West, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017, at Antioch Christian Church, Marion, Iowa. Visitation: 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, Iowa. Burial: Garden of Memories, Waterloo, Iowa.
Terry is survived by her children, David (Rhonda) Wiley of Marion, Kathleen (Robert) Ketelsen of Martelle, Iowa, Patrick (Eva) Wiley of Marion, and Diane (Joseph) Jakoubek of Hiawatha, Iowa; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mildred Hansen of Waterloo, Betty Wendt of New Hampton, Iowa, and Phillip Kuriger of Evansdale, Iowa; sister-in-law, Ellen Kuriger of Brandon, Iowa; brothers-in-law, Sonny Scoles and Jerry Jenkins, both of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents; son, Michael Wiley; brothers, Raymond and Paul; and sisters, Florence Sherbon, Rosemary Jenkins, and Margaret Scoles.
Terry was born April 6, 1930, in Waterloo, the daughter of Karl and Rachael (Ralston) Kuriger. She married Donald D. Wiley on December 26, 1951, in Waterloo. Terry was a member of Antioch Christian Church, Marion, and the Garnet Place’s “Ding-A-Ling” Bell Choir. She worked at Link Belt Speeder and ADM prior to working at Parsons National Computers for 10 years.
