Theresa Henry (Jahren)

Theresa A. Henry died at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, on Friday, April 26, 2013, at the age of 88. Visitation will be held at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, with the service following at 12:00 p.m. Pastor John Albertson will officiate. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, Iowa.
Theresa was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, grew up in Big Spring and graduated from high school in Fort Worth. She graduated from Business College in Houston, Texas, and from the Lutheran Bible Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After working as Parish Secretary in several churches, she married Pastor Eugene S. Henry on December 17, 1955.
They have four children: Karla A. (Murray) Driggs, Sioux Falls, SD; Mark D. (Terri) Henry, Erie, IL; Stephen P. Henry and Karen M. (Tom) Cronk, Marion, IA.
They also have seven grandchildren: Matthew and Dylan Cronk; Jacob and Lindsay Driggs; Jordan Henry; Brandon & Derrick Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and a brother.
