Thelma M. Graham, 88, of Cottage Grove Place, died Saturday, August 19, 2006, in St. Luke?s Hospital as the result of a stroke. Services: 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2006, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion, by the Rev. Dan Peterson. Burial: Lafayette Cemetery, rural Alburnett. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2006, at the funeral home.

Survivors include; a son, Elmer "Alex? Graham and wife Joan of Lake Tahoe, Nevada; a daughter-in-law, Esther Graham of Alburnett; a brother, Wayne Bridge and wife Pat of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Marge Lockwood of Marion.

Also surviving are three grandchildren, Elizabeth Graham and husband John Saunders of Colleyville, Texas, Laurie Graham of Cedar Rapids and Steven Graham and wife Aprill of Alburnett; five great-grandchildren, Emma and Ryan Saunders and Andrew, Nathaniel and Jackson Graham.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Max; a son, Donald; two brothers, Glenn and Verle; and a sister, Charlene.

Thelma was born on September 6, 1917, in Garrison, Iowa, to Arthur and Ella Grimm Bridge. She was united in marriage to Max Graham on July 27, 1938, in Lancaster, Missouri. Max died on July 10, 1997.
