Terry Don Triggiani

Terry Don Triggiani, 59, of 337 Cherry Hill Rd. NW, died Thursday, August 26, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. David Turner. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2004, at the funeral home. Burial: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at National Cemetery, Vining, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; his daughters, Shelly Kuhn and husband Mark of Cedar Rapids and Tina Smith and husband Steve, formerly of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Jeff Ellis and Sheila of Oelwein and Kelly Ellis and wife Lisa of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Violet Triggiani, formerly of Waterloo; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Judy Turner and husband Pat of Elk Run Heights, Linda Myers and husband Steve of Fairbank and Anna Gulsvig and husband Tim of LaCrescent, Minnesota; a brother, Johnnie Triggiani of Seattle, Washington; and very special friends, Lou and Connie Darrah.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Terry was born June 17, 1945, the son of Donald and Violet Long Triggiani, in Oelwein, Iowa. A 1964 graduate of Jesup High School, he married Linda Kaufman Ellis on November 14, 1981 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. For over 30 years, Terry worked as a millwright at Quaker Oats. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers Local #1039. Terry enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, using his computer and operating Hamm radios. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Terry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
