Terry Lynn Cornwell

Terry L. Cornwell, 57, of Lamont, Iowa, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester. Family will greet friends from 2-8 p.m. on Friday and one hour before services Saturday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at Campton Cemetery, Lamont.
Terry was born May 30, 1949 in Manchester, the son of Vernon and Irene (Hutchinson) Cornwell. He attended Maquoketa Valley High School in Delhi. Terry served two tours in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On December 12, 2000 Terry married Katherine Jaeger in Manchester.
Terry liked to fish, hunt, work on cars and drag-race his truck in Earlville. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and his cat "Boots?.
Terry is survived by his wife, Katherine Cornwell of Lamont; four children, December (Brad) Hoth of Strawberry Point, Brandon Cornwell of Lamont, Jasmine Cornwell of Strawberry Point and Chelsea Cornwell of Lamont; three grandchildren, Levi and Savanna Hoth and Aleaya Cornwell, all of Strawberry Point; his father, Vernon Cornwell of Earlville; three brothers, Rick (Lolly) Cornwell of Delaware, Mike Cornwell of Earlville, and Rod (Jeannine) Cornwell of Lamont; sisters, Karen (Don) Reittinger of Delaware, Brenda Letts (Bill Young) of Manchester, Rhonda Cornwell of Monticello and Linda Cornwell of Earlville.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Cornwell.
