Terrance Evylon Faust

Terrance E. "Terry? Faust, 69, of Manchester, Iowa, died Monday evening, March 3, 2003, at his home after a lengthy illness.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am, Friday, March 7, 2003 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Manchester, with Rev. Dennis Miller officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, where a Scripture Service will be held at 5:00 pm, and at the church one hour before the service on Friday. Burial will be in Forestville Cemetery, Dundee, Iowa.
Terry was born May 23, 1933, in Delhi, Iowa, the son of Evylon and Mary Ellen (Hogan) Faust. He was raised and educated in Delhi. In 1951 Terry joined the United States Navy serving on the U.S.S. Missouri in Guam during the Korean Conflict. He received his honorable discharge in 1955.
On January 21, 1957 he was united in marriage to Lois M. McDowell at the St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Tuscon, Arizona. The couple returned to Manchester, where they have resided since. Terry retired from the Delaware County Vocational Center in 1995. He was a member of the St. Mary?s Catholic Church.
Terry liked woodworking and often helped his son at his cabinet shop. He and Lois enjoyed traveling south in the winter. Terry especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Terry is survived by his wife, Lois Faust of Manchester; a son, Russell (Linda) Faust of Dyersville; three daughters, Connie Faust of Manchester, Donna (John) Heying of Elkader and Pam (Mark) Kiefer) of Dyersville; seven grandchildren, Michael Norton, Brenna & Trevor Heying, Kristen & Lauren Faust and Emily & Mason Kiefer; a brother, Richard (Betty) Hogan of Fort Meyers, Florida; and a sister-in-law, Verda Mae Faust of Guttenberg, Iowa.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Evylon & Mary Ellen Faust; his sister, Shirlain Connolly; and a brother, Robert Faust.
