Tae Young Lee, 62, of Robins, died at his home, Thursday, May 8, 2014, surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with cancer. A private family memorial service will be held. He will be buried next to his father in Dubuque. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Hyun “Sue” Lee; mother, Baik Hop Lee; three children, Ji (MiHae) Lee and their children, MinSoo and MinJae, Jinna (Josh) Beeh and their children, Ari and Zoe, and Jimin Lee; siblings, Ho Rak Lee, Mira Jung, Kil Y Moon, and Ae K Chung; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Tae was born October 13, 1951, the son of Man and Baik (Jung) Lee, in Seoul, South Korea. On November 25, 1979, he was united in marriage to Hyun Park in Seoul, South Korea. Since 1986, Tae has owned and operated the Egg Roll House.
Tae was an avid gardener and was especially talented in calligraphy and photography. But his greatest love of all was his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
