Susan was born on October 29, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Stephanie (Gesek) Riley Sr. She moved with her family to Schenectady, NY when she was one year old. Susan moved back to Cedar Rapids for her senior year where she graduated from Jefferson High School. On October 8, 1977, Susan was united in marriage to the love of her life, Keith Weller, in Cedar Rapids. She worked at the Linn County Auditor’s Office for 37 years until retirement. In her retirement she decided a life of leisure was not for her and she worked at Lemstone Parable Christian Store, which matched her passion to share God’s love with others. She later enjoyed her love of shoes and helping others while working at Brown’s Shoe Fit Co. Susan taught religious education classes at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed helping people directly and was a hospice volunteer. Susan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Outside of work Susan enjoyed spending time with family and friends. One of her greatest joys was becoming a grandma and spending time with her cherished granddaughter, Aria.

Susan is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Keith; children, Katie Weller and Samuel (Ashley) Weller; granddaughter, Aria; mother, Stephanie Riley; brother, Richard (Ann) Riley Jr; and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father.
