Susan Jo (Carter) Miniaci

Susan Jo (Carter) Miniaci, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on July 6, 2021. A celebration of Life will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids.
Susan was born on March 25, 1960, in Florida, to JoAnn “Jokie” Lee and Donald Carter. Susan touched many lives in her nearly 40 year career as a radiation therapist treating cancer patients. Susan had a green thumb and loved spending time in her beautiful yard with her plants and flowers.
Survivors include her children, Michael A. Miniaci of Denver, Colorado, Cecily Miniaci of Kansas City, Missouri; her husband, Mike Miniaci, Jr., of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her brothers, Tim Carter, Jim Carter, and Mike (Julie) Lee; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Susan will be remembered by her family and friends for her warm smile, strong hugs, and loving personality.
