Sue Ellen Connell

Sue Ellen Connell, 73, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at her home. Sue’s family will conduct a Celebration of Life at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
Sue was born April 17, 1951, in Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Ivanell (Bricebecker) Mueller. She graduated from Garnavillo High School. On May 24, 2000, Sue was united in marriage to Lee Connell in Cedar Rapids. She loved playing cards, watching the Chicago Bears and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Above all, Sue loved the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Connell; children, Scott (Tammy) Hittie, Brad (Cathy) Hittie, Jamie (Mike) McFarland; step-child, Jim (Lisa King) Connell; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
