Steven Ray "Steve" Perry

Steven Ray Perry, 50, formerly of Manchester, Iowa passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, Guttenberg, Iowa following a lengthy illness.
Memorial Services will be Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Manchester. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until service time, Tuesday, April 15th. Inurnment with Military Honors will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Masonville, Iowa.
Steve was born May 25, 1957 in Manchester, Iowa the son of Harold F. and Delores (Crane) Perry. He graduated from West Delaware High School in 1975. Steve was united in marriage in 1977 to Judy Reth in Manchester, they were later divorced. He entered the U.S. Army in 1977 serving in Missouri. Following discharge from service, Steve returned to Manchester, Iowa later moving to Guttenberg where he worked for Products Unlimited. Steve enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, cards and super ghouls and ghosts on super nintendo.
Steve is survived by one son, Daniel Perry of Manchester; a brother, Robert Perry of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a sister, Pat (Jerry) Hastings of Edgewood, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Richard Bowers of Manchester; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Delores Perry; two brothers, Harold and Jasper Perry; a sister, Mildred Bowers, and two nieces, Brittany Reddingius and Amy Perry.
