Steven L. Stalkfleet, 50, of 1265 7th St., Marion, died Thursday, November 21, 2002, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, following a lengthy illness. Graveside Services: 1 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2002, at Ridgewood Cemetery, North Liberty by Rev. William Harnish. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his son, Sean, two step-children, Vince and Media, all of Aurora, Colorado; his mother, Sally Curtis of Marion; his brothers, Ken (Deb) and Mark (Penny), all of Cedar Rapids and Tom (Pam) of Tucson, Arizona; his sisters, Susan (Tom) of Apache Junction, Arizona, Sandy (Lloyd) and Debbie, both of Marion; and his significant other, Jan "Marge? of Marion; two granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Bobby.
Steven was born September 8, 1952, the son of Richard and Sally (Carrel) Stalkfleet in Iowa City. He was married to Wendy VanNatta for over 20 years.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
