Steve G. Findley, 41, of Loves Park, IL died Monday, August 24, 2009 at his residence.
Services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home 925 W. Main St, Manchester, IA with a viewing from 11-1:00 pm. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery, Osterdock, IA.
Born April 2, 1968 in Iowa City, IA the son of Richard and Susan Green Findley they both survive. He was the founder of the band Six Lix Fix where he played bass guitar. He also enjoyed fishing, Vikings football, movies, rock and roll music and especially loving and taking care of his children.
Survivors include his children: April, Nicole, Shyanne and Gunner Findley all of Loves Park; brother: Mark (Holly) Findley; paternal grandfather Gane Findley; aunts and uncles: Linda (Larry) Hentrich, Jeff (Becky) Findley, Julie Findley, Dale Findley, Pat, Howard (Barb) Green, Leonard (Janet) Green, Phillip Green, Jack Green and Sandra Hadley; x-wife Theresa; nieces and nephews Cassy, William, Mark, Zachary, Stephanie, Neriah, Elexis and Justice; cousins: John (Rose) Hadley and kids, Amy (Anna) Hadley, Michelle, Jemma and numerous others;
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandmother, aunt Patty Green, uncle Jack Hadley.
