Stephen A. Mysak, 69, lifelong resident of Springville, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at First Assembly of God in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2016 at the church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial: Springville Cemetery, Springville.

Survivors include his wife, Beth of Springville; his sons, Todd (Stephanie) Mysak of Seymour, IN, Travis (Staci) Mysak of Marion, Troy (Angela) Mysak of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren, Faith, Jesse, Alaina, Andrea, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Lucas; two sisters, Dianne Brown, and Dixie Brady.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Steve was born January 1, 1947 to Henry and Juanita (Rickels) Mysak in Cedar Rapids. He married Beth Baumgartner on October 12, 1968 in Iowa City. Steve owned and operated Mysak Grading & Landscaping in Springville and Mysak Farms. His family and grandchildren were his world and meant everything to him. Steve was known for his love of the outdoors and his good ol’ boy street smart style. His eye for detail alongside his bigger than life personality, was known by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Steve’s memory.
