Sophia Marie Goldsmith, one day old of Davenport, Iowa died Monday, December 29, 2008 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2009 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Delhi by Rev. John Kremer. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Delhi.
Sophia was born December 27, 2008 in Iowa City, the daughter of Donald R and Cozette (Blosch) Goldsmith of Davenport.

Sophia is survived by her parents,Don and Cozy Goldsmith of Davenport; her grandparents, Darrel “Red” and Ann Goldsmith of Delhi, Gene and Edna Hauschild of Manchester, and Robert Blosch of Hiawatha; aunts and uncles, Wendy (Ed) Zehr of Manchester, Mike (Dawn McNeese) Goldsmith of Cedar Rapids, and Sandy (Sherif) Hemaya of Kansas City, Missouri and cousins.
