Sidney Julia Marsh, 15 months, of 271 Lortz Drive in Marion, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at her home, following a sudden illness. Services: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Danny Rohr. Visitation will be from 9:30 ?" 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion.
Survivors include her parents, Tim and Amanda Marsh of Marion; her grandparents, Glenda Murray of Marion, Paul Knode of Des Moines, Danette Knode of Marion, Kim Bogs of Marion, and Rick (Terri) Marsh of Cedar Rapids; great-grandparents, Avis Murray of Iowa Falls, Butch and Sharon Knode of Des Moines, Emily Beck of Marion, Daniel Gilbert of Sterling, Illinois, and Carolyn Gilbert of Port Byron, Illinois; and her great-great-grandmother, Betty Baker of Des Moines.
Also surviving are godparents, Anthony Burkheart and Anna Pategas; and many other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Aaron Baker and Ralph Murray; and her great uncle, Lloyd Baker.
Sidney was born July 25, 2007, the daughter of Tim and Amanda (Knode) Marsh in Cedar Rapids.
A memorial fund has been established in Sidney’s memory.
