Shirley A. Howe, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on her birthday, at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, Iowa City, on January 28, 2016.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Howe; daughter, Kathy Murphy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; son, Mike (Kerry) Murphy of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren, Ben and Will Murphy; mother, Adelaide Bildstein of
Dyersville, Iowa; two sisters; three brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Bildstein; one sister; and one brother.
Shirley was born on January 28, 1944, daughter of Lawrence and Adelaide(Rausch) Bildstein. On September 11, 1994, she was united in marriage to Dean Howe in Solon, Iowa.
