Shawn P. Power, 32, of Manchester, died Friday, March 4, 2005, in Regional Medical Center, Manchester. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City, by the Rev. Jonna Jensen. Burial: Boulder Cemetery, rural Prairieburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 - 8 p.m. Monday (March 7.)
Survivors include his mother, Colleen Kula and stepfather, Ron Kula, of Prairieburg; his wife, Charlotte Power; a son, Lauren P. Power of Manchester; four stepchildren, Ashley Petersen of Olin, and Jessica , Regina and Corrina Ladd, all of Delaware, Iowa; a brother, Shane Power of Prairieburg; and a stepsister, Michelle Mercer of South Carolina.
Shawn was born May 1, 1972, to Colleen Power in Cedar Rapids. He married Sheila Petersen and they later divorced. He then married Charlotte Ferguson. Shawn was night supervisor at Henderson Manufacturing in Manchester. He was a member of Mud Runners.
