Sharon Ann Miller (Baruth)

Sharon A. Miller, 74, of Ankeny, formerly of Marion, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at her home. Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Rev. Del Bear. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her daughters, Deb (Alan) Knuth, Lori Miller, and Joelle (Craig) Logemann; and five granddaughters, Sarah, Bria, Emily, Jayde, and Jamie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one daughter, Cindy Melson.
Sharon was born August 7, 1937 in Rock Island, IL the daughter of Paul and Sarah (Prouty) Baruth. She married Darrell Miller on May 12, 1957 in Moline, IL. Sharon worked as a cook with the Marion Independent School District for many years.
