Sharon Kay Hanna, 63, of Robins, died Saturday, February 26, 2005, in her home following a short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion, by the Rev. Charles Keyes. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband Ted; two sons, Tim Hanna and wife Vicki of Cedar Rapids and Craig Hanna and wife Lynn of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Rhonda Spoden and husband John of Guttenberg; her mother, Lucille Cady of Marion; four brothers, Mark Cady and wife Debra of Morley, David Matheny and wife Susan of Solon, Jeff Matheny and wife Lori of Marion and Mike Matheny of Cedar Rapids; and three sisters, Sheila Kennedy and husband Kevin of Ingleside, Illinois, Sandy Heitzman of Cedar Rapids and Sherri Kubicek of Cedar Rapids.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Greg (Stacy), Jennifer, Robert, Emily, David, Anna, Sarah, and Jordan. She was preceded in death by her father.

Sharon was born the daughter of Raymond and Lucille Andrews Matheny on September 12, 1941, in Center Point. On October 14, 1957, in Iowa City, she was united in marriage to Harold "Ted? Hanna Jr. She worked in food services at Kennedy High School for twenty-six years, retiring in 2003. She was involved for many years with the Cub Scouts.

Sharon was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
