Sharon Doris Aper (Williams)
August 13, 1951 — October 24, 2006
Sharon D. Draper, 55, of Strawberry Point, went to be one of God?s angels on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester following a long illness.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester by Pastor Jill Mack. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service. Inurnment will be in Union Cemetery in Aurora, Iowa.
Sharon was born August 13, 1951 in Brainard, Minnesota, the daughter of Ernest E. & Arlette D. (Warner) Williams. She attended school at Norbonne High School in Torrance, California. Sharon lived in California and New Mexico before moving to Iowa in 1990.
Sharon was a naturalist and lived a primitive lifestyle while in New Mexico. She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, latch-hooking, collecting angels, reading her bible and listening to Christian music. Faith was an important part of her life and she had a love for Jesus like no one else. She was a blessing to anyone she met. Sharon especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by three daughters, Tina (Randy) Vaughn of Marion Jenal (Jamie) Fettkether of Aurora and Melissa (Tim) Bicket of Reinbeck; five grandchildren, Brandon Schneider, Eric & Taylor Bistline and Brady & Madeline Fettkether; two sisters, Marlette (Richard) Bustamante of CA and Connie Zeulich of WA; two brothers, Ernie (Linda) Williams of Alabama and Jim Williams of Cedar Rapids; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest E. & Arlette D. Williams.
