Sharon Louise Baily, 57, of 1223 Ottawa Drive, died Friday, January 30, 2004, at St. Luke?s Hospital, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Del Bear. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Inurnment: Springville Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Maajal Houdeshell and husband Brett of Marion and Stacy Bates-Schutz and husband Kaleb of Alburnett; a son, Joshua Baily of Marion; a sister, Patsy Power of Olin; a brother, Robert Edgerly of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Olivia, Logan and Lucas; former husband, Ben Baily; and a special friend, Wayne Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sharon was born December 10, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of William and Louise (Furler) Edgerly. She was a supervisor at the Marion Maid-Rite.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Sharon?s memory.
